Will my commissioned artwork be a realistic copy of the photo that I submit?
Nope! Your artifact will have a life of it's own, rather than copying every detail in the image submitted, your artwork have the visual style of the example illustrations on the website. I will spend time and thought creating your custom illustration based on your image, but I will allow it to become something special instead of a replica of the photo.
Can I purchase an image unframed?
Right now that cost of the frame is included in the price and is not marked up. I have partnered with framebridge for wholesale pricing, I send them your image and they print it on quality materials and custom frame it as part of the product service. If you are interested in a custom illustration that is a different size or have specific requests please send me an email and I can make an estimate for your needs.
When will my image arrive?
All illustrations are created within three weeks of their order and then sent for shipping. If you need your print quicker than that standard timeline, you may choose that option at check out, rush fees apply.
I will never resell or use your commissioned image without your written permission. Each illustration is special and custom and I value the sentimental idea behind each and the story it tells. I do retain the copyright for each illustration so that I can share it on my website and through social media. The individual commissioning the work may not resell it or use it for any other purpose than the framed piece of art. You may submit other illustration inquiries here, but I do not offer illustrations of pets or people through the ordinary artifact service or price point.
Can I send you a photo of my pet or family to illustrate as a commission?
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! Gift cards are a great idea for a bride or mother-to-be who might want their bouquet painted or an illustration of their baby's first outfit. Gift cards are available here.
